Open Day - Blind & Vision Impaired Fencing

About the Open Day
Sydney Para Fencing invites blind and vision impaired people to come along and experience fencing in a
supportive, inclusive and welcoming environment. No previous fencing experience is required. The
session is designed to introduce participants to the sport, meet our coaches and fencers, and have a go at
fencing.
What to Expect
• A friendly introduction to blind and vision impaired fencing
• Practical activities and an opportunity to try fencing
• Support from experienced coaches and members of the Sydney Para Fencing community
• An inclusive environment focused on community, connection and strength
Who Can Attend?
The Open Day is for people who are blind or vision impaired and interested in trying fencing. Family
members, carers and supporters are welcome to attend and learn more about the program.
