NSW Fencing acknowledges and gives respect to the traditional custodians of the lands on which we conduct our activities. We acknowledge that these places have been sites of community, connection, and sport for thousands of generations.

NSW Fencing – accelerating the Olympic sport of fencing

NSW Fencing Association Inc (NSW Fencing) governs all aspects of the sport across the state, championing a holistic approach that emphasises participation, performance, and personal well-being.

NSW Fencing serves as a cornerstone for recreational athletes and future champions alike, offering equitable access to facilities, programs, and resources. The organisation provides a platform where individuals of all abilities can thrive—whether they aim to compete or simply stay active.

Fencing is a unique sport which attracts diverse athletes, and is a sport for life. NSW Fencing values this diversity as a strength of the sport and the sporting community. Fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity, NSW Fencing aims to support individuals at all levels—from recreational to elite athletes—to achieve their personal best.

NSW Fencing was established in 1932, and has nurtured the sport from small beginnings to having athletes compete in the Olympic Games.
