Find a coach

There are many coaches in NSW, across the three weapons. NSW Fencing maintains an up to date list of member-coaches who are available for coaching opportunities.

• Listing here does not imply NSW Fencing endorsement of these coaches or their credentials, so please get in touch with the coaches directly to ensure a best fit for your needs.
• All coaches working or volunteering with people aged under 18 years must by law have a Working With Children Check (WWCC). It is the responsibility of anyone employing a coach, to verify their WWCC. As NSW Fencing is not the employer of the coaches listed, checking whether they have a WWCC is not in our remit. If you’re the parent/guardian of a fencer aged under 18 years, or a club employing a coach to work with fencers aged under 18 years, you must ensure your coach has a Working With Children Check, and verify this online – some guidance is here. 
• Some coaches are nationally accredited, accredited coaches are listed on the Australian Fencing Federation (AFF) site, as it is the accrediting body.
• You can also find coaches by checking the 'Find a fencing club" page.

Please note, this list was launched on 28 July 2025 and coaches are gradually being added as they provide their details.
