Shaping gender equity: forum

A collaborative forum to share lived experiences and guide action on gender equity in sport.

Join us for an informal online lunchtime forum for female and non-binary athletes, their parents/caregivers, and coaches, hosted by Britt Hilton (she/her), NSW Fencing's new Development and Inclusion Officer.

Britt is responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting programs across all levels that encourage women, girls, and gender-diverse people to take up and stay involved in fencing. She’s eager to hear your experiences, insights, and ideas to help shape future initiatives that support and grow participation and opportunities.

Your voice matters in building a sporting environment where everyone can thrive, and we’d love you to be part of this important conversation to:

• share your experiences to help shape inclusive sport programs
• connect directly with the Development and Inclusion Officer
• collaborate with others who care about equity in sport
• help identify priorities to better support female and non-binary athletes
• help identify what resources are needed
• contribute to a safe, supportive environment for all participants
• be part of the change that drives long-term gender equity in sport.
