Event by Newcastle Fencing Club PCYC Maitland Public  · Anyone on or off Facebook Location: Maitland PCYC, 3 James Street, Maitland (just behind the Maitland Art Gallery) Cost: $15 per event: $25 for 2 events Events: Foil: 9:30 am Epee: 1:30 pm Formats (e.g. mixed; gendered) to be decided closer to the event Please note that fencers who are not members of PCYC clubs will need to join either PCYC NSW or register with NSW Fencing Association for insurance purposes. Novice Comp: For fencers whose experience in fencing, no matter what weapon or weapons, is a maximum of 2 years (i.e. 24 months); and turning 15 years of age in the current calendar year and alder (novice adults are obviously included). Younger novices will be part of the U14 events since many of these competitors are new fencers also. Under 14 events: Maximum age: Competitors must be turning 14 years of age in the current calendar year. Under 18 events: Maximum age: Competitors must be turning 18 years of age in the current calendar year. Start time: Please arrive 30 mins minimum prior to your chosen event to allow for registration, warmup, etc. Allow approximately 3 hours for each competition. Equipment: 350N minimum for mask, underplastron and jacket. Tracksuit pants are OK, but fencing pants are recommended for the epee events. Foil competitors will need lames. (Please check with your state if you are unsure) You must have provided confirmation of your date of birth and gender. This can be uploaded into JustFence using the "Personal Information Verification Document" credential. You must have provided confirmation of completion of the following Sports Integrity Australia (SIA) courses.  These courses are available via the SIA learning Portal: Anti-Doping Fundamentals (Required Once) Competition Manipulation and Sports Gambling (Required Once) Annual Update (Required each year) Once completed, confirmation is to be provided within JustFence by uploading your "Training History" document using the appropriate JustFence credentials. Fencers residing outside of Australia The following must be completed before before you can enter Australian National tournaments (You may already have completed these for a previous Tournament):  You must have provided confirmation of your date of birth and gender. This can be uploaded into JustFence using the "Personal Information Verification Document" credential. Each year, the Sydney University Fencing Club holds four Club Championship events. The events are open to both Club members and non-members. Non-members will have to pay a $15 visitor fee in addition to the registration fee. Medal and chocolate will be awarded to the podium placers, as well as trophies for both the women's and men's champions. Venue: The Arena Sports Centre, Western Avenue 2050 Camperdown Date & Competition Start Time: Saturday, September 5, 2026, starting at 12:30pm Registration: Registration opens from 12:00pm on the day of the event. The registration fee is $20 paid in either cash or electronically. If you are running late, please let us know.

Dates - Tuesday, 18th of August, evening - Epee Location: Sydney Academy of Fencing (Building 2, Level 1, 190 Bourke Road, Alexandria, NSW). Purpose: To train, compete, and build the adaptive and wheelchair fencing community across Australia. The NSW U13's Novice event will be held at Sydney Olympic Park Sport Halls on Sunday, 7th June 2026. To compete in these events, the following age registrations apply: U13's events: competitors must be under 13 years on January 1, 2026. Please bring photo ID for age verification at Check-In. No refunds will be given for fencers who were entered incorrectly. NSW Fencing State membership is required to enter this tournament. Correct equipment is essential for safety. Please refer to the equipment standards on the NSWFA website.  Equipment will be checked for compliance by the referees at this tournament. Fencers without compliant equipment will not be permitted to fence, and no refund will be given. UPDATE: Early registrations close 11.59 pm AEST, Monday 1st May 2026. Late registrations will close 7:00 pm Tuesday, 2nd June 2026, and will incur an additional fee. No registrations will be accepted after the close of Late registrations or at the competition. Note: The final competition schedule has been updated, please see revised poules composition posted on Fencing Time Live. Where a fencer is entered in multiple events that are scheduled concurrently, please see the DT. If you appear scratched in an event, please see equivalent Novice event for your poules.

The NSW State Championships for Youth (U15) and Cadet (U17) will be held at Sydney Olympic Park Sport Halls on the following days: Youth (15) - Saturday 6th June Cadet (U17) Sunday 7th June To compete in these events, the following age registrations apply: Youth events: competitors must be under 15 years on January 1, 2026. Cadet events: competitors must be under 17 years on January 1, 2026. Please bring photo ID for age verification at Check-In. No refunds will be given for fencers who were entered incorrectly. NSW Fencing State membership is required to enter this tournament. Correct equipment is essential for safety. Please refer to the equipment standards on the NSWFA website. Please pay particular attention to the requirements for FIE masks and foil mask wires. Equipment will be checked for compliance by the referees at this tournament. Fencers without compliant equipment will not be permitted to fence, and no refund will be given.
